Official match records and optional profile information are different things.
Creating a player profile requires consent that kills, deaths, assists, damage, and map scores from a match you play remain on the official match page. If you hide your profile, that scoreboard shows “Anonymous Player” and does not link a name, portrait, or Steam account.
You can hide your public profile, real name, portrait, Steam link, career summary, advanced statistics, and profile auction history. Those choices remove you from search, the player directory, and the public leaderboard. They do not delete the competition record or rewrite another player’s statistics.
A typed Steam URL is not verification. Verification requires the Steam sign-in return check, and only after the server secret is configured.
Account email addresses, pending prize amounts, and administrative notes are not published. Auction points are not money. Confirmed prize-pool amounts are the only figures shown in public totals.
Raw snapshot files are kept so a published statistic can be corrected and reprocessed. The sample backup archive shipped with this repository is not an NCCL result.
